Process

Interested in knowing more about working together? Here’s a short breakdown of my process, which is based on Design Thinking and a high level of craftsmanship combined with a results-oriented outcome, whether undertaking a complete re-design, branding for a new organization, or a single logo.

Explore

Looking at every approach to not just solving the problem but instead defining the problem, I work to ensure all stakeholders has a chance to emphasize and clarify the objectives of a successful outcome, including:

  • What is the scope of the project?

  • What is the problem or potential for opportunity?

  • What goals or metrics can recaptured to measure the outcome?

  • How do clients, competitors and partners currently relate?

Define

With information collected from all key stakeholders, in-depth research is conducted as needed on key competitors, market and industry trends impacting the project. Both visual and and non-visual research and exploration is integrated during the design phase.

Build

Once everything is finalized in the Explore and Define stage, design work begins. It’s important that the direction for the project is something you’ll be proud to share and hits all target goals. For this to be achieved, a check-in meeting and up to two rounds of revisions are included in the Build stage.

Implement

You have a solid, polished design that hits all the objectives from the initial meeting. The final step is working with you to successfully implement it across all applications.

Files/Toolkit

You will receive all files in both easy-to-use format for social media and programs such as Microsoft Word as well as the raw, industry-standard formats to use moving forward.

Style Guide

In addition for branding will be a personalized style guide for further support on using assets with text, colour and print products to make sure you stay on-brand for the lifetime of the design.
