Hash Bats Campaign Launch

Good Supply launched an new cannabis pre-roll infused with hash. For a national campaign, the brand wanted to keep the value of the product front and centre: they hit hard. In fact, Hash Bats hit really hard with a higher potency of THC than you’d find in a typical joint.
Working in the in-house creative team, I worked with the brand manager and trade marketing team to visually bring together concepts that emphasis the strength a small pre-roll could have.
Through a couple rounds of feedback, we ended with a polished campaign that hit the value market while visually communicating potency, one of the key factors when people are buying cannabis.
The campaign is still in-market today and Good Supply Hash Bats hit one of the top selling SKUs in Ontario; rare for a pre-roll of it’s kind to do so on product specs alone.
In the end, the client was incredibly happy with the initial concepts and chose one consisting of block print typography harkening back to folk art made by the rural farming communities that make up the backbone of Vietnam’s workforce. Patterns were pulled from ancient motifs found on drums and other relics to create a bold, timeless visual brand that can create a solid foundation for the company for years to come.
