Objective

An arts organization launching an internal team needed a unique identity coherent with their existing brand.

About the project

Soulpepper Theatre Company was looking to create an internal environmental committee, Green Peppers, with a goal of becoming a leader of sustainability in the performing arts world, and beyond.

Working with the chair of the committee and members, I developed a wordmark and set of symbols for them to use in their communications within the company as well as the theatre’s donors and patrons.

A member of the same family.

As with many organizations creating a product or group under the larger name, the Green Peppers logo needed to be visually similar, creating familiarity, to the existing personality of Soulpepper.

 
 
 

Iconography

The team needed a set of icons and badges for a number of applications: social media, presentations, prints and apparel (shirts were printed for gardening tasks).

On Application

Environmentally-friendly signs were installed throughout the building raising awareness of ways staff, patrons, students and visitors could help reduce their environmental footprint.
